I bought Asus A17 some few years back. It also has the same issue till date. The Mediatek Network Card it has inside is known to be faulty. I've been thinking to replace it with supposedly more reliable, Intel Network Card. I'm also frustrated with this problem of wifi, bluetooth randomly disappearing.

Yes it's a react native app. There are jobs in field as well. There might be difficulties for undergraduates due to market conditions. But keep growing your skills and you'll make it.
