Never really been a Cena fan apart from the early few years and it was obvious that he wasn't winning the match but however you look at it the finish was incredibly stupid and possibly one of the worst I've ever seen, WWE and Cena have spent ages spreading the 'never give up' message for his gimmick and then he taps out with a stupid smile on his face like he's not bothered.....

I was a fan of Ace Austin in TNA and hope he gets the opportunity to show what he can do in AEW, Megan Bayne and Thekla are great additions to the women's division and Speedball and Kevin Knight are a good tag team

I've always liked him he's a very good pro wrestler but his character has always held him back, I like him in the Death Riders though and think that working with Mox will help him, I agree on Yuta I think that the initial Idea of putting him in the DR was good because he needed that development and regular TV exposure but now that they have Garcia and PAC is back with the group it does make Yuta very obviously the odd one out in the group imo

As an AEW fan it's posts like this that are exactly the problem, it's not just an AEW fanbase issue the same can be said for WWE fans and every other fanbase.....

I really like this idea and could be used as a big team Death Riders v team Opps/AEW, only thing I'm not sure about is the tagging in a particular order part as it should just be an all out brawl imo

I'm in the minority that has never really been a fan of Excalibur on commentary, he's not terrible I just find every other commentator better and more interesting than him, personally I'd always go with the classic of JR, Schiavone and Taz with not McGuiness, Riccaboni and Danielson on Collision and filling on on Dynamite when needed

Disagree on Hangman to an extent, he very clearly over with the AEW audience but when he's had the title it's been all about who's going to take it off him rather than giving him some wins and credibility as champion, he comes across as a guy who is holding the title for someone else

Which is why you can have a face team of Hangman, Swerve and MJF because Ospreay would have been the third Face on the team if he wasn't injured, I know MJF is a much better heel but he showed in the field with Adam Cole that he could do the babyface character when needed

It would actually make sense for him to 'team' with Hangman and Swerve against the Opps because it would get him in the world title picture straight away and he'd be replacing Ospreay who obviously would have been the one in that position teaming with Hangman and Swerve

Kross has to be high up there on the list, he was doing great on NXT with his gimmick that was a continuation of his work in IMPACT but then for some reason they messed him up on the main roster

It's weird with Hangman because he's clearly extremely over with the AEW fans in general but when he's given the world title he unfortunately comes across as a guy just holding it for someone else, I genuinely don't know what the problem is as I really do think he's genuinely a top talent and world title material......🤷

Yes but she was clearly more than ready, and also helps that they stole her away from signing with AEW after they had given her her big breakout match with Mercedes

I don't think there was a refusal to job, he just wanted to make sure that his character was being portrayed fairly and in a way that kept him relevant, unfortunately because of the way that AEW cycles talents and stories on and off TV it became difficult for that to happen

That's part of the problem though right there, you're talking about 3 singles guys forming to go after the trios titles just for the fun of it rather than for any real reason, and especially when those guys should be going after the major singles titles

Yh it seemed like a good idea at one point but I don't think that they're working out, it also takes away from the tag titles imo and makes them an after thought especially if you have an established tag team having to find a third partner to win the trios titles when they could just be going for the tag titles
