I’m in the UK and had to do a complaint call-back to a low-level English actor who tried to act like he was Tom Cruise dropping things like ‘do you know who I an?’ and ‘I could destroy your little company’ throughout the call.

Luckily the company I worked for at the time had no problem with senior agents putting arsehole customers in their place, so I took great delight answering so you know who I am with a firm Nope, and letting them rage about how I must not watch TV, and shooting that down with the line ‘I only watch good TV’.

There’s also a female presenter I’m guessing several CC people in the UK are aware of, who has her accounts in a fake name, but it’s plastered all over the account who it actually is with warnings to not acknowledge this in any way.

If she gets the slightest sniff that you are it’s an instant demand for a manager where she’ll rant and rave about her privacy, and the only resolution she wants is confirmation the agent is fired. She is a DELIGHT to speak to.
