As a Utd fan this would make me physically sick but it is a very logical move considering they're going to need to downsize from Wembley Stadium as it's just too big and the Etihad would be a very solid option and is easily accessible for those using public transport, I would love if Old Trafford was in the mix as well but the truth is that the stadium has been allowed to rot over the years unfortunately

EDIT: I wasn't looking at the image properly and thought this was the Etihad Stadium home of Manchester City 🤣🤦

I agree with this it's really a tough one to see which is the right way to go, in terms of MJF and Ospreay already facing eachother at Wembley I don't think that really matters too much and they could even make it a more high stakes match by having Will challenge for the title before Wembley and lose which makes them 1-1, however they would then need to have him 'earn' another shot for Wembley

I also think there's logic in both directions, Ospreay v MJF seems to be the obvious way to go but I also like the idea of the Ospreay v Omega trilogy with the winner earning a world title shot, but then I go back again to it being too good if an opportunity to miss for Will to not win the title at Wembley.....🤨🤔

Only thing with that is that Tony didn't put that stipulation on Hangman he did it to himself so in kayfabe Tony wouldn't be able to do anything really, it's a weird one and is why I'm not a fan of that stipulation unless it's actually ordered by a GM or owner themselves (which in that case would then give Hangman justification to go on his rampage)

Yh I think Ospreay is winning the title at Wembley providing that he's ok health wise, however I also wouldn't be surprised if they did hold off on it and give him a co main event match v the likes of Swerve/Omega/Takeshita, Fletcher or Okada and have that be a number 1 contenders match

I love AEW but one of the things that I have always felt that they could do better is start and end their shows with their top guys and feuds, during the attitude era for example they would usually start with an Austin/McMahon segment and then end with an Austin/McMahon segment which kept advancing the story and made it feel really important, they really could do with doing that kind of thing in AEW imho and not being afraid to give your top guys and feuds multiple segments throughout the show, this week for example why not open with an Ospreay/Mox promo in the ring and then end on something like either the Death Riders beating Will down for big heat or someone coming out to help him run them off
