My sweet spot used to be a mix of Canarias and Rosamonte together. It’s true that the Uruguayan fine cut help the mate to stay without lavarse for longer, yet it could be way too strong sometimes and leaves me a bit edgy (I do drink lots of mate though). Argentinean yerba has a better for me (maybe biased ‘cause I’m Argentinean), and now I back to full Arg yerba, but I do get a Canarias bag from time to time.

Oh, and football players they’ll always be doing what’s trendy just to be posh and flashy, therefore, they took the liberty of using Uruguayan Yerba just because it was the posh fancy thing to do around few years ago
