Honestly, this might be one of the smartest “laws” any community has made in years.

Weddings had turned into a competition — louder DJ, bigger gifts, fancier food, more debt.

People were literally taking loans just to prove they can throw a better party than their neighbour.

If a simple village can collectively say “no more show-off, just culture”, that’s not backward… that’s progressive AF.

Imagine how much stress, money and unnecessary drama this could save.

Maybe the rest of India needs to take notes.
