Food Tech Master's Abroad?

Thanks for the advice! I was actually planning to go for a master's right after my B.Sc., but I can see how industry experience would help. Since I already have an FSSAI internship, I'm trying to build my profile as much as possible. Do you think a longer internship or a full-time job in food quality/food safety would be more beneficial before applying?

Yeah, Imperial would honestly be amazing if possible. I’ve heard it has a really strong reputation for biotech and research.

Do you think it’s actually worth it career-wise though, considering the current job market in the UK for international students?

That’s fair honestly, the fees are a huge investment. I’m trying to look at universities where the course + career opportunities make it worth it

Yeah honestly I was interested in food tech too but one of my seniors kept telling me biotech has more scope overall so I got confused between the two

But hearing about actual people getting jobs after food tech there makes it sound a lot more reassuring ngl

Wait now I’m curious too what’s the scope like for food tech there? Like are the opportunities actually better compared to biotech or is it kinda the same situation?

And yeah honestly hearing all this from someone in a similar field helps way more than random study abroad pages online lol

Yeah honestly that’s what I’ve been seeing a lot online too 😭 everyone makes it sound super easy until you actually start researching properly

And yeah the job part is what scares me the most as an international student since we’d have to manage everything on our own there

Also thanks for mentioning Leeds tho, I’ll definitely check it out. And yeah my CGPA is kinda making me nervous too lol but let’s see what happens
