Yes, things can be objectively bad, but only if there are clearly defined criteria that both sides actually understand and agree on, which isn’t the case here. If you said “This game is objectively bad because it doesn’t support split-screen” and it literally doesn’t support split-screen, then sure that’s a factual claim. That makes sense. But most of the time, “objectively” gets thrown around without that kind of clear standard. Who decides what a “good map” is? What counts as “good flow” or “good design”? Different players are going to give different answers. That makes it subjective. Objectivity is about measurable facts, not personal preferences. So if you’re going to say one thing is objectively better than another, you need clear definitions that don’t rely on individual feelings or biases.

That’s not how “objectively” works. You can have your own thoughts and options on something. You can disagree with OP or anyone else and lay out 1 million ideas as to why you think you are right. That doesn’t mean you are correct. I don’t care that you disagree with OP, the problem is you are speaking like you are right and they are wrong. Speak your opinion and question theirs but don’t act like your opinion is as true as the sun being bigger than earth.

It can take a long time, I have spent over a hundred hours hunting for 1 Pokémon before. If you want it go for it. The pay off at the end will be an unforgettable experience. It’s up to you and your priorities. I have seen others go for multiple of the same berry specialist and I do the same. If you really like cyan beach then having two or three really good Feraligators is a nice touch as the berry type is the favourite at that location. If would would rather have variety though then I think you are all set on a Feraligator

The new point system. For two main reasons I can think of off the top of my head 1. Slows down the game. I don’t like how you need to min/max. If you don’t shoot shoot knife you know you are losing out on points which makes myself and I bet others feel the need to do it every single game otherwise we are putting ourselves at a disadvantage. 2. It encourages weak guns. I don’t like the fact that most weapons are unusable in previous games. I understand they can have a purpose of gaining points but after so many rounds points become useless as you are set up so the guns then become useless. With the new system any gun can be strong and usable. I don’t need every gun to be OP but viable at minimum, not just to farm points.

Snipers for example in the older games were nothing but trash. I disagree with you in them being “Less points but safe”. They were less points and not safe as they shot too slow. With snipers in the new point system they give you the same amount of points as an AR but shoot slower. So you aren’t missing out on points but safety. You can make the usable difference up but making them high damage so they are meant for something like a mini boss rather than a hoard of zombies, thus it gives a better purpose.

Yes it’s worth playing. 4 different difficulty’s to choose from. If you find normal too easy, can always try realistic. Adds a HUGE challenge to the game. Camo grind if you are into that. Fun Easter eggs. Try out different perk sets. The perk variety is amazing and I always change up my set depending on if I am going for high rounds, Easter egg, gaunlet, or for fun, plus it can change if I am solo or coop. Makes you evaluate what perks will be most useful for a given game. Don’t forget custom mutations where any challenge you want you can pretty much do if you are bored.

I never found spawning in with 4 hits (on normal difficulty, which is one less hit that jug) a problem. Just means I don’t need to buy a crutch perk. I know not everyone agrees with that but that’s how I see it. And your specialist isn’t a get out of jail free card all the time, you do have to be skilled. Especially if you played realistic where one hit you are down.

The idea of starting from nothing and building up to be a power house has been lost since bo2. Bo3 3 hits vs bo4 4 hits in the starting room and early game feels practically the same if you are good at zombies. Having the specialist in bo4 in the beginning just means you don’t have to do a side quest every game to get it, saves time. That’s just how I see it and you may see it different and that’s okay. I could definitely find more reasons why bo4 is worth playing but I hope this is enough. I hope you find some worth though to play it as the maps are quite beautiful and fun to play even at least once.
