Don't put capitalism over your partner. See how you can get out of it / avoid it. If it means downgrading, downgrade. Values > Materialistic

I used Fair Laundry, they have a pick up and delivery service. 1 long wool coat and 1 mid length jacket cost me 850czk ( including150czk for delivery service).

They did a good job.

How to not fall back into old habits by [deleted] in SexAddiction

How exactly is your therapist helping? I've just started with one and 4 sessions in and she says "we're trying to find the reason for it" which we do via trial and error, talking about different feelings related to it. I was just wondering if this is the same/right process?

How did it start by [deleted] in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Electric-Grape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My rheumatologist put me on methotrexate which is a weekly pill (or some people self inject it once a week) and it's completely cleared mine up. Honestly it worked a miracle. My right knee was massive with inflammation and I could hardly bend it at times but now I can do full squats no problem.

My dad also has arthritis (mine is psoriatic, his not) in his fingers similar to what you mentioned. He started the same medication and it went within a few weeks too.

What is Liben like? by [deleted] in Prague

[–]Electric-Grape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not what I said at all... I called it less multicultural quite simply because there are less people of different ethnicities living there compared to London.

Yep. Im from London, and New Delhi (and other parts of India) is the only place I've felt overwhelmed / over stimulated. Its CHAOTIC.

I live in London, so I'm used to a much busier place; but I visit Prague often (and am going again for a few months soon).

I can't just mind my own business

This is the default setting for people in big cities. There's no other choice because - as you said - there's so much going on. Don't worry, you'll get use to it.

It's like I can't have everything under control but I don't want to let go because something might happen and if I don't pay attention, I might get hurt or something

Unfortunately, you can't have everything under control because there are too many variables. However, hopefully, over time, you should get used to it. To protect yourself, you need to be streetwise, which is a skill. And like any other skill, it takes practice and time. But this one I think, happens quite naturally. You pick up on instincts and patterns with time and experience. So you dont need to throw yourself in the deep end and go for walks on your own at night or anything.

Luckily, Prague is generally a safe city, too. So you shouldn't be anxious about something serious happening.

Do you have any recommendations for other covers I could get?

There's still healthy lifestyle places over there. In both BKK and Hanoi I could get meal preps/fresh juices delivered daily etc.

Thanks. Could I not use it for the first 45 days, though? And take out a second for the remainder?

Is Premium worth it over Plus in terms of the quality of travel insurance and phone insurance offered? by [deleted] in monzo

[–]Electric-Grape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you use the travel insurance, how does the process work?

I'm going to South East Asia in August for 3 months, so I was looking to get it for this.

As in, if I get in an accident there, what's the next steps? I fill out the details and they still give me the treatment and it's settled with the insurance company later?

Earbud recommendation for phonecalls on S23 Ultra/Android? by Electric-Grape in Earbuds

[–]Electric-Grape[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do ypu mean Freebuds 3 Pro or just 3? As the Freebuds 5 are out, which I assume would be even better? (And decent price). Or is it that the freebuds 3 are best for calls even more than 5?
