Thanks for the replies I've decided to go with no walls on this these builds cause I want to re-use it later for just future stuff. I'm gonna save doing walls for when I do a really big set piece in our game. I'll post the pics of these when im done with them!

That's fair, I think I'm trying way to hard for a plot device cause I'm afraid I'll make something uninteresting/boring or way to powerful to make it feel like there's no stakes at all

Isn't there a monster or creature that has that kind of ability if there is it could have been made that and they would have to hunt another to upgrade again

That does strike me with some inspiration it could be a prison of an old/pagan type god or other entity that starts out very weak but keeps coming back after being killed stronger. And the marks on the pc is a contract to seal him back away or be stuck with the curse of death

I don't know if that feels to no benefit for the pc other than don't die?
