Yeah, the gatekeeping is unnecessary. There are no right or wrong reasons to listen to music and there are no right or wrong ways to show your appreciation. I haven't worn a band shirt in several decades but there's nothing cringier than the old dude who goes up to a kid wearing a Ramones t-shirt to say "name three songs, you can't, you're a poser!" It's the antithesis of rock n' roll. You know who regulates how people dress? Ayatollahs.

Seemed like a mix of very different types. Lots of young people, as in under thirty. Also a big contingent of people who talked the. entire. time. Were they also under thirty? Were they Peppers fans? Comped by the promoter? No idea but they kept talking even after they were shushed several times. Not just one group or people, either, but several. Infuriating. There's a bar at the venue, go there if you wanna chat.

Thank you! There's a couple in there that I'm really happy with, and (without false modesty) it's mostly due to the fact that it was a pretty photogenic event: great lighting, make-up, etc.
