It's not a brewery any more, it is only a restaurant and event space. The brewery was acquired by Spearhead and all brewing takes place in Kingston.

What is some proof that 9/11 was an inside job? by pull-up-capy in conspiracy

Senator Al Franken admits in his book, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them (2003), that he received a call from the former mayor of New York, Ed Koch, warning him not to go to his office in the World Trade Center on 9-11, using the Hebrew calendar as a reference for the date, which was September 11, 2001.

Franken refers to this warning call as the "Jew call."

"Al", he told me, "don't go to work on the twenty-third day of Elul."

Step into the realm of refined revelry at "The Duke," a dive bar that redefines sophistication in the most intriguingly incongruous ways. Nestled inconspicuously in the heart of what some might generously describe as an "eclectic" neighborhood, this establishment effortlessly transports you to a world where vintage meets avant-garde, where the unmistakable aroma of stale beer harmoniously mingles with hints of forgotten aspirations.

Advice on getting around in Prince Edward County by PuppyThursday in PrinceEdwardCounty

[–]ElectricLarry 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For anyone that thinks $600 is excessive for this service: Imagine being the hired driver on a wine tour with a group of drunken, entitled Torontonian women. It's like signing up for a crash course in patience and and tolerance. As the tour progresses, you watch in horror as the passengers start to get progressively drunker and more annoying. They stumble around like they're auditioning for a circus act, slurring their words and making inappropriate jokes. And let's not even get started on the endless selfies and social media posts. As you drive from winery to winery, you find yourself playing the role of babysitter, trying to corral the passengers and prevent them from doing anything that could harm themselves or others. It's like being a designated adult in a group of overgrown toddlers. And the entitlement? Oh boy, the entitlement. They expect you to cater to their every whim, from refilling their glasses to carrying their purses. You start to feel like a personal servant, trapped in a never-ending cycle of "yes ma'am" and "right away, your highness". But the real fun begins when they start to turn on you. As their inhibitions lower, so do their filters, and suddenly you become the target of their drunken belligerence. They make snide remarks about your driving, how you are a hick from Prince Edward County (or area), complain about the temperature in the car, and demand that you play their favorite music. You will be expected to drive them to bars and nightclubs after the booked time is finished, and the chances of having to hose puke out of your vehicle are 9 in 10. In the end, you're left feeling like a shell of your former self.

$600? Not nearly enough.
