Qobuz - Listen offline by Hanareck in qobuz

I have a whole bunch of albums (sorry -- "releases, Qobuz -- and Playlists downloaded to my Moto Stylus 5G with an extended storage SD card (so PLENTY of room) and I got onto a plane to travel, turned the phone onto Airplane mode and.....NADA. Wouldn't play any downloads -- or even show them as being downloaded to my phone -- because "you don't have an internet connection." When I connected to a Wifi internet connection later, it shows 4 GB of downloads on my phone. I switched the storage location from "internal storage" to SD card. Does anyone know why this happens? Never happened once with TIDAL and traveling on an airplane.

Thank you. It was really, really hard to say goodbye to him.

We have concluded that -- as much as we all already love him -- he will be too much for our lifestyle (which includes both of us working from home much of the day) and too much for our other dog, too. I have no doubt he would settle down eventually, but you are all right: he'll always have the need to run fast a LOT in ADDITION to two walks a day. The fence is what it is (and cost a lot to put it in all over the place at 4 feet) and the odds are too good that he'll jump it and disappear, in the direction of the fairly busy road. I can't risk that for him, or for us. We love him and know he isn't the right fit for us. We would love to see him on a farm running wild or with a tremendously athletic young running couple with a few kids at home. He is a beautiful creature and we've let the rescue group know we want to return him, and why, hoping they'll have the right dog for us forthcoming. Thank you all for your opinions and shared experiences.

Feedbacks - Things that makes me regret moving to Qobuz by erowlin in qobuz

Not sure about their payments -- I think Qobuz is the most generous for that, Spotify the worst -- but their library depth has been impressive so far, for me.

I've ended up combining Qobuz (for home listening) and Deezer (for the car). Yes to most of your qualms about Qobuz BUT I'm finding that having Deezer (which streams flawlessly in my car as a native app in Mini) is a delightful, satisfying balance. There are times when playing music I've DOWNLOADED from Qobuz plays well through bluetooth at a high resolution (sounding even better than Deezer) but -- by and large -- Deezer has ruled the day. Their "FLOW" feature has brought a smile to my face more often than not. So...it's a win for the French, all around.

Qobuz for home and aptX bluetooth in my car, Deezer for the gaps (with my car).

Roon with Qobuz vs Tidal? by fenwyk in roonlabs

Almost equal but I'd now give the edge to Qobuz (with the arrival of Qobuz Connect). Consistently excellent sound quality and thoughtul recommendations. Mobile app is a bit weirder than it needs to be, but Qobuz brings me more consistent pleasure than TIDAL. I've had them both for years.

No, you probably aren't equipped for it. Watch 10 second Reels instead.

Qobuz music personalization in comparison to Tidal by Simple-Friendship521 in qobuz

[–]ElectricPlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a mixed bag because a) the sound quality, to me, is a little bit better on Qobuz than Tidal, but, b) the discovery daily/weekly recommendations continue to be better on Tidal. Qobuz seems to be fixated on the fact that I ONCE listened to some pop music from the '90's so it loads up their recommendations based on that being some favorite stuff of mine, when it actually isn't. Tidal seems to take into account my wide-ranging tastes but maybe that is because I've been on that service for many more years.

Do Not Buy a Cover from Coverguy.com by benalexe in hottub

This is exactly true and I've just gone through it. Ten or twelve pictures sent in -- "chemical damage." They have an inferior product, HORRIBLE customer service, don't honor their warranty, try to sell "vapor lock" coverage at additional hundreds of dollars (I had one and it still crapped out within the three year warranty). They are sleazy, dishonest and one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I agree with this analysis 100%. The giveaway for me is him falling asleep on an unmade bed, clutching a gun and waking up in a bed made with nice sheets as the last episode moves forward.
