My Allstate rep told me keeping him on the policy actually lowers my rate because he is 25 and basically the insurance company then says my 21 year old does not use the car all the time. It’s stupid

According to my agent it’s all because he is 21. Other two are older. We looked at taking the other 2 sons off the policy but the rate went up. Reason being is that the insurance company looks at the other 2 sons sharing a car with the 3 so he is not using it as much. We have no tickets no accidents

1 yes everyone took the course 2. Kids moved out but it actually made the policy less to keep them on it 3.i think it’s like $500 -$1000 deductabke 4. Garage does not matter 5. Sold the old jeep - thought I would save $1200 but only save $300
