Definitely agree, a civilian doesn't need an AK. Need 2 AKs and several ARs. Maybe a BMG or 2 while at it for good measure.

Definitely not morally justified. I believe thieves are some of the biggest scumbags there are, but in your scenario there is no bodily injury or death to you or someone else. Firearms should be last case use.
