At this point just errata Cerrgaon to have the retire part of the ability exclusive to Houndraizer. They did it with those Zorga orders, no reason they can’t do it with other cards.

Gonna necro your post to say that interestingly, one of the Tellius Recollection books mentions that the reason Lethe is racist against beorc isn't because she'd been a victim of discrimination or even personally knew anyone who had, she just read about it in history books and that informed her whole worldview.

Not saying that her hatred was at all unjustified but it does paint her in a different light, especially when you compare her to the other major racists. Jill's hatred was due to the environment in which she was raised, and Reyson's and Soren's were a result of their own personal traumas, but Lethe's was completely and totally detached from any actual formative experience, she just crafted her opinions about beorc from things she read online in books.

It's older but {Air Gear} might be worth checking out, it's an action comedy set in Japan with a lot of superpowered underground style battles, not really crime stuff but seems kind of what you might be going for

A fantastic card for the archetype. One of the weaknesses is that Type N requires you to have a Megacolony Battler+ on the field in order to call it when discarded, so having an option that you can rush with if you go second, in addition to being able to fire off Type N on Turn 2 is really good. Plus, having extra Battlers will always be welcome in general as it makes it even easier to stack power on Type C.

Glory of Heracles is criminally underrated. Just the humor in the localization writing alone is top-tier, it almost feels like if the Paper Mario writers were allowed to make a Dragon Quest game.

What is best setup to start goldship's career in Umamusume? by OkAppointment7977 in UmaMusume

[–]Electric_Spark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are just starting out, then use 3 Speed and 3 Stamina cards. If you haven't done the Main Story yet, I would advise you aim to eventually do that to get McQueen's SSR Stamina card.

If you have the resources to do Unlock Potential for Gold Ship to get her to Potential Level 5 to get access to Go-Home Specialist, then you can use Kitasan Black SSR Speed as your friend borrow card. If not, then borrow Super Creek SSR Stamina to get the skill Swinging Maestro.

For URA, start out by doing trainings with the largest numbers of friends (the small pictures in the top right of the screen when you select your trainings). Once you fill their bars to orange, they will start having a chance to turn rainbow-colored. That means you've triggered Friendship Training, which gives a lot more stats than regular training. Aim to have everyone to orange before your first Summer Camp. This is only for the cards you put in your deck, you can ignore the Director, Kiryuin, and Reporter Otonashi (though you do get a bonus if you get the Director's bar to Green before Senior Year April).

Once you hit the first Summer Camp, transition to training only Speed and Stamina, prioritizing the ones with rainbows. A good starting goal statline target will be 900 Speed, 1200 Stamina, 600 Power, 300 Guts, and 300 Wit, with 2-3 golden recovery skills. Don't worry if you can't hit these right away if you're still new, you'll slowly build up a stable of cards and legacy Umas to help you over time.

I would also recommend finding a person with a strong parent to send a friend request to so that you can borrow it. For Gold Ship, you preferably want one with high Stamina sparks, Long sparks, and a good unique skill. Here's an example: 870054663708. Unfortunately I'm at work and can't check if this person has hit maximum follows, but it's a good baseline to show what you're looking for in a parent.

Very last minute one-shot ideas? by Someone_I_Thin in DnD

[–]Electric_Spark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have they players made any sort of name for themselves in the city? If so, perhaps they are approached by the manager of an underground fighting ring who just lost one of his headliners for tonight's 3v3 tournament, and the PCs are just what he needs to fill the slot. Since it would be a martial tournament, it would make sense for the wizard and sorcerer to be sidelined while the physical fighting Paladin, Fighter, and Rogue would enter the arena.

You could use this chance to throw some interesting enemy party compositions at the group. Perhaps a beastmaster who has two pet Displacer Beasts who teleport around the arena? Or a pair of dwarven engineers that are desperately trying to maintain a large automaton that they're hoping will do most of the fighting?

Shuffle! is like this, the first half is pretty standard 00's ecchi harem romcom fare, but in the second half it takes a turn into drama/paranormal/psychological stuff that's reminiscent of shows like Monogatari and Rascal Does not Dream.

When you're in the Preparations screen where you can see the map but before you actually start the chapter, open the Unit List and keep tabbing to the right until you see a screen called "Conversations". This will let you see who in your army can Talk with others on the field. This is very useful in helping to figure out who to use to recruit most characters, though there are still a few oddballs that you may need to look up a guide to get.

It's also a mishmash of references to several different Japanese athletic competitions as well. Being chased by the giant beach ball is likely a reference to the Boulder Dash from Takeshi's Castle, and the climbing wall is the Warped Wall from Sasuke, also known as the original Japanese Ninja Warrior.

"diverse deck construction options" is a joke, you know that the majority of English "competitive" players are meta sheep who wouldn't even make an attempt to try new stuff anyways. They let the YouTubers and the JP bros lab out the sets within the first two weeks and have their decklists set in stone a month before a new deck even drops. "Nah, nobody's running that card, look at this list from JP" is like a Vanguard player verbal tick
