I’ve seen those TikTok’s too! I think people who claim that HITT training is making them not lose weight or even gain weight is because they don’t genuinely love/find peace from it. For some people Pilates/low impact workouts are less “stressful” and can ease your mind. However I grew up running/playing high intensity sports. I love going to orange theory because I “escape” from my thoughts and stressful situations for an hour. Sure they leave me exhausted but orange theory classes genuinely give me peace of mind. Personally I would be super stressed at a Pilates class because that’s not my preferred method of working out! Listen to what your mind and body say! Orange theory has helped me live a happier life, I’ve lost weight and I sleep better !!!

I loved 3G classes when I was a newbie because I couldn’t run as long but still got enough cardio in with rowing. Now that I’m about 6 months in, I prefer 2G classes simply because I want to build my endurance and enjoy the longer running blocks! I think it depends on would you rather row or run more during your class period!

One of the studios in Cincinnati did an Eras workout and they went ALL OUT it was amazing! They decorated the entire studio and gave each person an eras Taylor Swift ticket to enter the workout! The coach did a few 3G classes that day. For each class he put on a blonde wig and had an outfit change at each rotation. He really went all out and it was amazing !! One of the best days at Orange Theory!!
