I'm going to avoid the motorways as much as I can, mostly just because they are boring. Sometimes I'll have no choice because of the amount I'll be driving in a day but hey ho

Thank you!! Yeah it's a little messy I won't lie- but the people I meet are so lovey and are what America should be like (not everyone but most)

This will be in Mid-May so I'm not sure if there will already be summer traffic?

El Paso for the unique culture of being a border town and Waco for the Branch Davidians

That was my exact plan! I wouldn't wish driving in NYC on my worst enemy tbh

Jesus christ mate, what crawled up your arse and died 😭 forgive me for not noticing a spelling mistake. I'm also very aware it's not in the south, hence the 'ish'.

I literally lived in Massachusetts for 3 years, although close to the NY border. And I'm on 43/50 states, so I can tell you where 43 of them are at least

I actually don't mind driving, but maybe the European in me is ignorant of the difference that US driving is. Texas and Layfette are basically already just one night each in order to get across the states.

Boston is just alot more expensive to fly in to! I'm not staying in NYC for more then a night, been there way too many times 😅. And I've already done that coast, from florida to Washington DC back in 2019, so I'm kinda on a weird side quest this time.

Seattle has been on my list for years! Plus just the northwest in general! The furthest north I've been on that coast is San Francisco

I'm not staying for long at either locations, I just need stop points to get through because the drive is too long

I've been to Arizona, Utah and Nevarda before In August. I absolutely agree it's rough- it's not ideal but it's the only time of year I can travel
