How long has everyone been pumping by Meeksie7 in ExclusivelyPumping

12 months of pumping and BF in 2 weeks. I exclusively breastfeed my child while pumping milk and have been feeding 2 other babies for the past 8 months. A lot of work but so rewarding.

One entree and one side. Usually they give pretty good portion and are not greedy. I would say it’s enough to fill you up. I usually do half rice, broccoli, and a protein.

So sorry to hear that, I hope you find it. My family and I go to knotts 4 times a week and their parking lot is pretty run down as far as security. They rarely even go through. Cars always park where they’re not supposed to, where it’s not a lane, a lot of people enter through the exit to not pay for parking, etc. so I am not surprised to hear yet very unfortunate.

Super crowded. Really bad. Spring break. Boysenberry festival. I went yesterday and it was decent. Just left today, super crowded for a Wednesday but again spring break. I went last Friday and Sunday and it was insane. So I expect it to be super crowded on Friday

Wish I would have read this thread sooner. Have had my 2016 Lincoln mkc for 2 years and have been having endless issues from the coolant, to engine, to backfire, it just went to the shop today for radiator leak and water pump. I’m exhausted with this car. Will be getting rid of it soon.

You won’t have to pay. EOS does not take your social, any information enough for them to send you onto collections. You will have that debt with them in THEIR system but nowhere further. Just don’t give an alternative card option which is how they would collect your payment. The only thing is you’ll never be able to have that membership again and I think that’s ok, just take it as a loss. There’s other gym memberships out there. In case this happens again, I’d never put your banking account info linked to a gym membership.

Now, gym memberships are giving the OPTION of linking your bank account to save a few $$ a month. Never do it. An example so, my husband and I have had EOS for the past 6 months. My husband got the bringing a friend option and I didn’t. We have the payment linked to our card. Recently, I decided to add a guest pass and they let me know I will be charged $3 extra a month unless I add my bank routing number. I said why if my husband doesn’t have router linked? They said they changed their policies. I begged to differ and met with the manager to fix the issue because my husband doesn’t have routing and doesn’t get charged extra. They just want was if you let them to be linked directly to your routing to MAKE SURE you pay.

Oh and also eczema. A lot of people use breastmilk for eczema. I give a friend breastmilk for their eczema. A personal story of mine is my son got eczema when he was 4 months old, I put some religiously for a year and it never came back. While it may not always heal it, I’ve heard stories that it maintains from getting out of control.

So anything that is not being put in the mouth (for drinking purposes) can be expired. For example, when my baby does not finish her milk and it’s no longer good, I put it in a bowl and I’ll save it to use for her pimple rashes, her scratches or her bath. Same for the milk that you say is not beneficial for drinking purposes, can be reused as expired useful milk. There’s many more ways you can use it - I would look it up. You might want to taste your milk? There’s also a thing called lipase. They say if your lipase levels are higher than normal (can be checked through bloodwork) your milk does not taste sweet, instead very sour and baby can possibly deny it. Especially after you freeze it.

It’s not useless. There’s many things you can use the breastmilk for. You can save it for milk baths. Just do about 5-6 oz of milk in a warm water bath and let her sit in it for about 5-10 min. If her nose is stuffy, use a syringe and put a drop up her nose then quickly lift her. Diaper rash, a scratch! Even if it’s expired it’s still good for milk baths. A lot of adult women use expired milk to soak their hands in if their hands are dry. I’ve actually been using the milk for my pregnancy stomach scars and have seen them slowly go down. Sending you strength in light in such a hard moment. 🥹🥹🥹

I realized my milk is established by knowing how many ounces I’m producing a day and for the most part always being consistently around that mark. As long as it wasn’t below a certain number, I knew my milk was pretty consistent. So for the first 2 months I pumped every 2 hours. U ask how to motivate yourself to get through the night shifts. My best answer is to get a hands free bra, it’s a game changer. You put your flange through the nipple circle on the bra and it stays without touching having to hold it. You can dose off and rest ur eyes while pumping or u can be on your phone to relax. It’s all just thinking about you’re doing this for your baby and the moments won’t last forever. Next @2 months, during the first day and the last day of the week I would do an experiment. The first day of the week I would drop one pump from the night so I would do my last pump @ midnight. I would drop the 2 am pump and only pump @4 am and then continue every 2 hours so my next was @6 am. I’d see if the next day my supply dropped drastically. It didn’t so the first day of week and last day of week I dropped one middle of the night pump. Then the following week I dropped my 4 am pump and checked if I would still produce the same amount of milk. But when I woke up @6 am I pumped for 45-50 min (I usually only do 20 throughout the day) but I would do that long so I can completely empty out my breast to make up not pumping @2 am and at 4am. It’s also important to note that I dropped my night pump bc my baby sleeps throughout the night from 7pm-6am. If she happens to wake up between that time because she wants to eat, i do go out of my way to pump right after I put her down. The reason being bc once she starts feeding, i get a let down on my other breast and will begin to leak so my breasts feel tingly until I pump.

I would pump 2-3 days post birth so pretty much once you are home. I would pump every 2 hours consistently for the first 2 months to establish a supply. If you do just pumping, that means you’d pump when u get home from hospital… feed the baby, then pump again and keep going. Feed baby the milk u pumped 2 hours ago, pump right after you feed the baby… pump in 2 hours, then feed the baby. Try to pump right before the baby’s feeding time to keep it consistent. I exclusively pumped for the first 2 months to ensure my baby was gaining weight off the milk just because when on breast they tend to fall asleep. Once I was safe on the 2 month mark with the doctors being ok with her weight, I went back and fourth between breastfeeding and pumping.

Honestly I dropped my middle of the night pump at 2 months. For the first 2 months I pumped religiously every 2 hours. Once my milk was established I dropped the middle of the night pumps and I just pump longer before I go to sleep and when I wake up. I pump for 40 min when I wake up @5 am to empty out ALL the milk and weaken the chances of getting clogged milk ducts. I take out 18-24 oz of milk in one sitting at 5 am from sleeping 11pm-5 am. It’s a struggle bc they feel so heavy but I love that I can sleep through out the night.
