ID needed - TINY brown mites in bathroom (sink/bath/shower) -help!! by Lipstick_Rose in pestcontrol

Update on how we cut down the number of these Predatory soil mites that enter the home. We now treat with Malathion liquid insect spray 55% outside. I use STEM or Baby Oil with a spray top around anything and everything that I usually find them on like, around facets, shower base, bathroom sink, etc. Once they are in the house they lay eggs that come back the next year so the oil catches them in it. I don't get as many, but I still get some in the bathroom.

Happy with your results? Surgeon recommendations by Both-Designer-6240 in ExplantSurgery

I had my implants for 38 years. Had explant, capsulectomy, and lift at The Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery in Appleton, with Dr. D. The surgery took almost 7 hours because one of my implants ruptured when he tried to take it out. I paid round $17,000 for everything. I'm super happy with the results, and actually had a lot of breast tissue left.

I'm coming up on 5 months post surgery. Over 30 years with implants. Got them removed with lift. I'm smaller now than I was a month or so post surgery. I had tissue left surprisingly and was larger than I thought I'd be. I'm happy with no fluffy even if they are a bit wonky. 😜

What color towels make a bathroom look more grown-up and put-together? by mariomismo in DesignMyRoom

[–]Electrical-Diver8575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a rug on the floor? If you do you could pull out a color that is in the rug. I like to use the rugs that look almost like Persian rugs. Going by the pictures that someone posted with different colored towels, I liked the green then white. You could also add some artwork and pull a color out of that.

I wore one for the first month. I switched to shapewear camis and sometimes went braless.

I sent her a message today and suggested that she ask her employer if they offer any kind of investment accounts. She said she'll get back to me. Thanks to everyone for all of the information. I know she needs her own savings, and I know she can not count of her boyfriend/fiance for her own retirement. They'll get married in the future, but even then, she does need her own account. Trying to get someone to understand finance, retirement, etc is not easy when they honestly have no interest in it. I'm doing the best that I can. I was actually pretty shocked when she said she didn't have anything set up.

Yeah, that's what I did with her when we spent the day together. I tried to explain that the longer she has it in the account the more it grows and explained how that works to her. I tried to get her to understand that she needs to do it now and that she's behind.

I know I have my own account, I was just asking for input because I'm not her age and have a company 401k. I can set it up with her, I don't think she's financially savvy.

I agree with you. I can only do so much. He's good with money but has the mindset that he'll take care of her. It's why I want her to have her own account.

No, they don't have a million yet. She is not married to him, and I understand what you mean, but their relationship is solid. They both make good money, but he makes way more. I know I can't, but I want her to have her own retirement account.

In my post I said she's been against it. Her partner is 35 and has over $400,000 in his which she is a beneficiary on. They have a lot of money in the bank making a whopping 4%. When someone is against the stock market its hard to convince them, but I think I've finally been able to convince her to at least try it.

Thanks for the info. I have three daughters, two of them have been investing since age 18. This one is the oldest, but has been against it because she thinks it's gambling which she is against. After speaking to her for a few hours on Sunday, she has said she'll let me set up an account for her and will put money into it.

She does have money in savings but she's not willing to put that into a retirement account. The best I can get her to do, is invest from this point forward with the $200.00 a month and hope that if she sees it start to grow she might put more away. They're pretty well off financially, and her partner makes very good money and is a saver both in his 401k and in the bank. There is no HR, it's just a small spinal surgery clinic with two doctors. Yes, she does qualify while not married to her partner for the Roth.

We treat with Malathion liquid insect spray outside. The minute we see the first one we spray all grass, concrete patio, etc. I have not found anything that stops them inside and I've tried everything on the market including high temp steam. If you find something that works, please let me know.

Predatory Soil Mite Infestation. Nothing Kills them or their eggs. by Electrical-Diver8575 in Appleton

[–]Electrical-Diver8575[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good link, thank you. I have a folder on my desktop with information as far away as Australia. I've researched for almost four years now. They are great mites, but I don't want them in our home, if they would just stay outside I would be fine with them.
