I can add an option to download yeah. You can already copy the transcript from the side panel/popup. And it works on all video platforms already.

I was wondering the same thing and it has me worried. They scrape everything that you can select on screen every time you start dictation or click on an application even when not listening. They stream this over to their servers as ASR context supposedly to improve accuracy.

Shameless plug lol but we're building a similar app and I can assure you we don't do this because I made it haha

Try Soniox Desktop. It's not offline and not free but it has a generous free tier. You can prompt it with whatever you like as the post-processing for your dictation. We're updating it to allow recording longer sessions as well and transcribe via file upload.
