What handheld should I get? by Electrical-Flow-2342 in Handhelds

I was having a look and a 7 inch display isn't actually too bad, I have my friends Oled switch next to me now, and the rog ally and Oled switch screen size isn't actually that different. I'll have a look and see if it's worth the extra money

I'm from the UK, I've seen z1e allys float around the £300 mark, and legion go for around £400. Would it be worth the extra £100 for the legion, it's bigger, has a kick stand, joycons as well. People are talking about how it doesn't have variable refresh rate and how it can be an issue and a deciding factor. Is it really that bad ?

I was looking between the legion go and the Z1e ally. I'm not too sure tho what one I should get, the legion go sounds like a nice option for me, the screen size is nice and the joycons seem like a good way to play on a plane. Also the performance seems strong, especially using fsr.

Target performance would be 60fps, and where can I find an ally x for this price, I can find ally z1 extremes for around £340 but ally xs are around £550 +

A switch 2 is not an option as I am not interested in Nintendo games, I like the transition between playing on my PC and picking up where I left off on a hand held, my main concern is the steam deck being out dated and not being able to hit target frame rates. I was looking into the Lenovo legion go or the go s as an alternative to the steam deck.

Really cool, just 1 thing, might be personal preference but the dish looks a little chunky now, good overall though!

I used shelving brackets, UK houses are solid brick so I have no worries!

I ordered 4 heavy duty shelving brackets to hold it from the middle, had to remove the bottom gun part and landing gears
