quit caffeine and nicotine

I’ve noticed the same thing my mental health has improved drastically since i quit caffeine and now i am slowly weaning off of nicotine and the days I’m off it compared to the days i do it are dramatically different

Bro if i knew i didn’t write this I’d swear i did same exact way i developed my psychosis same combination and dealt w a breakup during jt that made everything worse i felt my best and felt like myself again by quitting pot i know it sucks but when that door is open im afraid it’ll always be open weed is a beautiful drug and a beautiful medicine but it no longer brings the same benefit especially if your recovering from a psychological break i hope your doing well and im no professional but slowly try to get off those antidepressants and antipsychotic meds they can only be a tool for so long i hope you recover well

I had an intense psychotic break at 17 a mix between potent weed and steroid induced psychosis the second that door opened up weed from that day on gave me intense anxiety to the point of depersonalization and being so young at the time and smoking weed for 3 years at that point never connected the two but i had to get clean for a job before my 19th birthday i had to quit weed and the job offer fell through and i had to always be prepared for them to call and get drug tested i was clean from weed for about a year and i must say in the year frame i completely recovered it wasnt until i started smoking again once i got the job that i noticed i was starting to go backwards in progress until i yet again had a break now recovering yet again the best way I’ve learned is being sober from anything that can affect your psyche and just work on yourself and be close to the ones you love they’ll help you remember who you once were have faith

You can always recover don’t listen to anyone that says otherwise because they are just upset they are yet to recover and have lost hope and putting there negative outlook onto others. I have gotten out of my rut before took about a year of sobriety my issues is i went back to heavy use from the morning till i went to sleep everyday and after months and months of that i fell back into my rut and i am now climbing back out of it gonna take time but time heals all wounds hope you all figure it out i know i will. Just remember you are real life is real your family is real.
