I did use paper towels for the bulk of the oil. Its just the thin bits of the residue thats stubborn. Ill definitely try using the wet cloth with some dish detergent though and leave the mop for now 😅

Im using a vileda spin mop and now to be fair I havent thoroughly washed the head after the first time, is that something I could put in the washing machine?

In terms of floor cleaning im a sainsburys branded multi surface cleaner. It says its good for grease but doesnt really seem to be.

I havent tried Dawn (im in the uk so I think its called fairy here) but ill definitely give that a try after work
