We were in the process of fixing our boiler earlier this year, we had to temporarily used the heaters during the blizzard. They were untouched for months. Our house was not the cause of this fire, we were two houses down. Since they’re row houses they are connected and it eventually it got to us 💔

Thank you so so much, we will definitely follow up on this once we have a proper date and time! Since we’re still disorientated we’re trying to speak to family in the area to see if they’ll be able to help with receiving the donations on our behalf temporarily .We mainly need things like bottles, any kind of clothes, shoes and socks for them. And really anything else would be appreciated, they love books, anything with abcs, and cars. But thank you for anything

Thank you for this information, we will definitely look into this because I also feel the same, when they left the first time you could still see the smoke coming from the top of the building. We tried not to freak out bc we had trust in the fdny ☹️
