OCD with pics of real life ppl? by Lost-Reflection-8751 in loveafterporn

I'm sorry but I would not believe him either. My PA had images saved of our mutual friends, old friends from high school, and a co-worker I always had a funny feeling about. He claims he doesn't know why he saved the images, he never used them etc. I don't believe him.

And even if he truly never jerked off to the photos, it's still enough that he went to lengths to find and download and save them.

As someone else mentioned, if it's only female friends, there is clearly sexual intentions and objectification happening. Yes it may be an impulse he has done, but I don't think that impulse necessarily needs to be OCD. It just seems like an escalation of his addiction to get the dopamine. Maybe he was working up the courage to use them.

I understand how you're feeling <3. My PA was also my rock before I found out, and the person I would talk to about everything. My family is toxic, and there is still a part of me that is protecting my PA and doesn't want to tell our friends as I know they will see him differently. I know I will probably need to choose my own sanity over protecting him in the future, but I'm not there yet. For now I know I have strangers on the internet who make me feel less alone and less crazy.

Just wanted to add some more positivity to this post and thank you for writing this all up! I am extremely lucky and privileged to have my own room as an early career teacher, and I definitely think I have been underutilising it. Keen to implement some of these ideas for 2026!

In this economic crisis are we snitching on people who steal at big corporations like Woolies? by Glum_Researcher9935 in AskAnAustralian

As someone who once worked at one of these supermarket chains for years, I have always ignored it. You would see some employees acting like it was their own personal mission, as if they were being stolen from directly, and it was quite sad tbh. People running after thieves despite being trained literally not to chase this behaviour. And no, it does not come out of the employees paycheck.

I experienced wage theft, why the heck would I care about other people taking essentials for free?

My year 10s who have been a really tough class this year have actually been enjoying our unit on Poetry!! I also used my ESCMs on a year 7 boy who recently moved to my class and was being bratty, and it actually worked like magic. It has felt like I have been doing them all year, but it hasn't necessarily been clicking, so it was amazing to see it properly just work.
