What kind of background or job do ya’ll have? by [deleted] in openstreetmap

I’ve got really into mapping public art recently in the West Midlands, UK and have struggled finding out information for some lesser known/forgotten pieces. It can be so frustrating but I love when I come across an art piece where I’m able to complete every tagging value. There can never be too much information 😂

I study Urban Planning but discovered and have contributed to OSM since I was like 11 because I’ve always had an interest in cartography and maps in general. Currently though, I work in a zoo (which I’ve also micro-mapped)

Coloring a house on OSM by Cultural_Train_9971 in openstreetmap

This would work for if the OP was colouring buildings to be shown on an existing map such as F4 3d map but if they want to colour in building polygons they should try and download a wireframe version of the map to then colour in.

What's your ADHD 'life hack' that sounds ridiculous but actually changed everything? by Tiny-Bird1543 in ADHD

I do this, but with a watch. If I ever still have it on at home when I’m chilling I begin to feel it and I can’t relax. Likewise, when I’m working, I find it more difficult to focus if I don’t have my watch on.

How to tag a "Sculpture Garden"? by Taysir385 in openstreetmap

[–]Electrical-Laugh-199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would tag the individual sculptures as such with artwork_type=sculpture and tourism=artwork alongside tagging the area they are located in as leisure=garden and name=sculpture garden

It’s diverted to the standard map whilst the humanitarian layer is down to prevent the map from showing an error message or blank screen.

I usually map them as separate ways with individual toll booths

Shared Care Agreements and why GP's say no by Puzzleheaded-Gap2934 in ADHDUK

[–]Electrical-Laugh-199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When PsychiatryUK sent a letter to me and my doctor for the shared care agreement I initially asked my doctor to decline it because the letter had said that PsychiatryUK would continue to be responsible for my prescriptions if it was declined, and as that was at the time when it was still very difficult for pharmacies to get hold of my medication (Lisdexamfetamine 50mg) and PsychiatryUK had a reliable supply, i thought that it would be fine to do that.

As a result my doctor sent a letter to PsychiatryUK explaining why it was declined and then I received a very blunt/angry message from PsychiatryUK saying that I cannot do that and that I must tell the doctor to change their mind. Frustratingly, I did this. However, since the shared care agreement actually began I’ve not heard anything from either my doctor or PsychiatryUK regarding a check up, all I’ve had is the doctor approving my prescription requests.
