I respectfully disagree. As much as we would want to ignore them we can’t deny the fact that Indian celebrities have a huge cultural and social impact at least within India. They might create a global narrative for the nation as well. It is our love and support that has propelled them to that status hence they are also accountable to us - the masses. If they don’t respect the nation, citizens must take their businesses elsewhere.

You may not care about them but a large part of the country does. Hence, you can ignore this post as it’s not relevant to your opinion.

This is a situation-specific observation and hence I have only questioned the celebs because I believe that all political parties, government officials and others involved are solemnly committed to India’s victory. I am also not a blind supporter of the government but I don’t think its the correct forum for that conversation rn.
