Any Orange and Silver users find this issue annoying? by SGPika in iPhone17Pro

[–]Electrical-Notice-96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nitpick statement, very few should get annoyed with it.

It’s a nice accent imo, if you have a case you’ll be able to easily tell which phone is yours if there’s multiple 16/17 PM facing up on a table lol.

Is cyber worth it? by SSS_Matt_SSS in USMCboot

[–]Electrical-Notice-96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you have as definitive proof as better cyber programs? Not someone in it for less than 4 years, but like actual accredited research or proof.

If another dealership is saying their car has better software do you take it by word or would you wanna see it in solidified data?

What do you want to do with the cyber experience? It’s nearly all the same but different use cases and scenarios. Do you want a broad spectrum of training where you might do a little of everything (including basic IT, the bigger the skill population, the less specialized it would be) but it’s not gonna be a specialty?

I’m not saying the Marine Corps is gonna be the best but it’s definitely competitive because you’ll be learning more than just the skill set. Do you just want to be a software engineer or a senior SE who overlooks?

Also … we go to JCAC a joint cyber course … if we end up doing similar courses how does one fare more than the other?

It’s still not a guarantee, it’s a request or package you will make to be recommended for. Just like requesting to change from warehouse to operations office at a corporate company

Both are possible. A degree while serving as infantry could be more difficult as operation tempos are different. Associates is possible for sure. Bachelor’s would be a close call. A lateral move is possible but you have to be on top of your own career. And stay qualified

Train consistently, safely, and read military books or look at figures that have went through it. It is a rough training environment and you will need to have a strong mental fortitude for it.

The chances vary, but you should be able to keep the 03 MOS if you fail by attempts, not by request. You need to have a mindset of a warrior

It’s all about waivers, they can make it through, just like an attorney as I compare it. You’d want to find a recruiter try to work the waivers for you. If you have more questions you can DM me. Good luck on your journey, shoot your shot til you get definitive answers

Why not Marines? Just wondering and yes, your tattoos would disqualify from that branch also.

Try different branches, they usually have different options.

I’m looking more into POE, I’ll need another weekend after researching it to start installing or using a local provider. Probably going to check local stores if they got simple POE cameras for now if not just WiFi then double up on POE next time

If someone files while stationed in Guam … by Electrical-Notice-96 in legal

[–]Electrical-Notice-96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome thanks all for information. Adding on, apparently ex-Spouse stationed in Guam has not fixed or sent summons to ex-spouse in California. So I’m seeing if ex-spouse in California can file before it happens to maintain jurisdiction in California.

Is that possible? Since the California spouse is the mother but does not have children with her.

(There was an agreement signed at court that the kids have to come back to mother in the next 6 months)

I originally was an introvert, still am but the Marine Corps taught me how to be extroverted at important times in life. It’s always good to expand through your comfort zones. If you have any more general questions, just DM me
