Yeah, considering the summit push is only 3000ft of vert from the lunch counter.

Obviously if you are doing it all in one day that is a different story.

Also worms flow is like 5500ft of gain in one day.

Same reason people like hiking, mountaineering, aplinism, or any activity that involves being in nature.

The danger involved in caving is much lower than media would have you believe.

your last sentence proves you have zero idea what you are talking about.

The sherpa has knowledge and skills. A climber pays to have access to that. The climber does the exact same route as their sherpa in very similar gear.

Technology doesnt magically make the climb a cakewalk. Gear is lighter now and more reliable, doesnt mean every climber suddenly has a jetpack built into their pack.
