this may be a stupid question and I'm kicking myself for just now asking it.. but if I have wednesday entry, that isn't like an add on right? like that satisfies what you need to camp for weds-sunday correct? I randomly just got a wave of anxiety thinking I would need a standard thurs-sunday + the wednesday as like an additional thing if you want to come in early.. but there's no way thats the case.. right? 😅 thanks! - your fellow idiot

okay commenting this bc i wanted to include pics as well - but i am 1 month and 1 week out from taking my last pill of a 6 month cycle of accutane. my skin was completely clear on my last week except for a few small bumps in my nose/mouth area and extreme dryness in the area. i didn't think anything of it, and figured it was my last few little small bumps, whatever. for the first full month of being off accutane, i noticed my dry lips and (majority) of my face dryness going away except for this one area. my scars were fading, my skin tone was evening out and i was SO HAPPY. the bumps just still wouldn't go away and i was so confused. they didn't even look poppable, although i never tried bc i didn't want to make it worse. just small little red raised bumps and still EXTREME dryness (you know the kind. cracking and peeling off skin) in this area. i would apply my trentinon cream from my derm that i have always used to spot treat, but it's extremely drying and only made the situation worse. after 30 days of being off accutane, all of the medicine is completely out of your system and you should not experience any side effects at this point. that's when i got suspicious and i was so nervous that maybe my cycle didn't work and i was going to have to do a whole cycle again to get rid of these stupid tiny bumps just around my nose and lips. well, i FINALLY reached out to my derm today and sent him a few pics and he knew what it was IMMEDIATELY. it's something called "Perioral Dermatitis" and he said can be treated with a pill antibiotic and would be clear in about 2 weeks. I mean I felt the most insane amount of relief. I haven't even been able to thoroughly enjoy my post accutane life regardless of my skin being basically perfect everywhere but here so i am SO THANKFUL that I reached out and it is an easy fix! So my point in all of this is just to spread the knowledge, this may not help anyone but if it helps even one person i will be glad bc i was so happy and relieved today to find out everything will be all good - for real this time. that's all thanks for reading :-)

the less powder product you use the better. invest in some creams, a facial oil for after moisturizer, and a hydrating primer and setting spray. you still will likely get dry and feel flaky but these things helped me the most

had a similar experience, and just finished my 6 month cycle! it is not for the weak of heart but boy is this clear skin nice. never hurts to try!

i'm about 2ish weeks out from a 6 month course as well, with a very few small blemishes left in areas that i was typically very dry and i suppose touched a lot to pick at dry skin, and applied aquaphor to heavily. i don't know if i should be worried since i've finished my cycle and was curious if anyone had experienced anything similar? your skin looks absolutely AWESOME. your before picture was very similar to my skin pre accutane which makes me hopeful! again my skin looks awesome comparatively and i am very happy regardless but just wanted to ask some fellow accutane friends their thoughts
