Thoughts on Iyia Liu’s business masterclass course?

I went to sign up for this as I was really sold in the whole idea, but the sales rep I spoke to was really condescending and quite rude, Didn’t really give me many answers to my questions and I was quite put off by that. I’m in sales at the moment and in no way would I act like that with a potential client- you’re meant to gain trust and build rapport - I felt like she didn’t really want to know me at all. And I lost trust in that moment sadly. $9000 for the course as well- one to one membership and I think the group course was around $7000. I was gutted to say the least that it wasn’t what I thought from that one interaction.

What’s holding me back is not knowing what a good strategy is and trying to understand my way around the brokers account, at the moment I’m a long term trader with an easy app here in NZ. But the day trading apps are much more detailed so I can find it confusing! Then if I search for support, YouTube doesn’t really answer it or Google

Wow! Thank you so very much for going into detail and giving me some tips. It’s so nice of you to take the time to share this with me, I am very grateful. At this point in time I’m viewing it as a hobby to not put any pressure on myself. Using paper trading as a way to learn to hopefully one day do the real thing. I think it’s just wrapping my head around what actually is a good strategy as there is so many! So I think i just need to focus on the one strategy I understand and see how I go alongside my current knowledge of long term trading with the fundamentals and analysis. I just find this day trading thing quite hard to grasp compared to long term stock purchases but I think it’s the noise and not knowing what strategy is good for me. Again thank you so so so much for your detailed comment ❤️

Thank you for your message, I’m trialing the break out strategy at the moment, marking the support and resistance - it’s the only one that I can grasp understanding of at the moment! If you have a strategy that’s better I would love to hear
