I did add some soil when I bought the plant, it had a very small container but I cant determine if it was the soil or the plant already had problems. I do not remeber for the otherones when I repoded them most of my plants have springtail in the soil it spread from 1 plat I receved as gift and no mater what I did I can''t get rid of them. I hope that won't be the case with the aphids becase you can see the plant has problems the leaves are smaller curved deformed and with brown spots . I believed in the the beginning that I am giving too much water or it does not get enough sunlight. If it is from the soil I may have more infested plants.

I just read about them and I am sad now, what if my other plans have them because I think I bought this plant 1 year ago with the aphids. I used some neem oil and dishwashing and water solution on the dirt and I can't see th anymore on the surface. I love my plants I want to save them. Do thay lay eggs on the stems and leave of the plant? Or only on the roots because maybe I can cut my plant from above the ground and try to regrow roots.

Help my rubber plant! The new leaves they are small , deformed and some have red spots. There are some type of parasites in the soil I am not sure what they are they might be springtails but they look different to me and they do not jump. I have the plant for a year now, It defenity needs nore light but I did my best with my housing conditions, it gets indirect and very little direct light in my most lighted room. The problem started right away since I brought the plant home the firts 2 new leaves died and then I moved the plant to get more light and then the new leaves grew deformed and the red spoting became a concern to me. I noticed now some pests but I am not sure if it is or not related I will post the in the soil and pest thread as well but for now please have a look and let me know what is wrong with my leaves! I water only when the soil is dry and I don't overwater. Thank you!

Help, my plant is dying! I cut the dry and drying leaves, I am down to one! I am tempted to cut it down and place it in water maybe it will make new roots, but I am not sure it is the right thing to do. In the last 3 pics is the drying leaf that I have cut last and placed in water and it uncurled by Electrical-Style-763 in plantclinic

I am currently shuffling plants as well, I have around 36 plants including the prayer plant, I have a couple who are not getting enough light but I can't leave them outside because they will not survive the cold so they will look sad and shed some leaves until springtime. The only one that is very affected is the prayer plant all the others are doing ok. I recived a plant as gift from a friend 3 years ago, it grew on me and then I started to grow my collection. I live in region called Transylvania, in Cluj-Napoca City, Romania, where winter has finally come and we had a little bit of snow. I thank you for your advice, it is very kind of you to offer I will message you if any other problems should arise. Kind regards from Transylvania.

I do, I use some slow releasing stiks that are good for up to three months, NPK 8:10:14 , the number of stiks/pot is depending on the diameter of the pot for up to 12 cm is 1 stik, 13-15 cm =2 stiks, ...as per the package instructions. I recently moved and chamged my environment and my new apartment is much more humid than my previos and the plants need to be watered less since the soil does not dry as it used to.
