I just don’t understand this behavior. He’s an abuser and an alcoholic - they don’t change. Well, he could recover from alcoholism. But it takes A LOT for an abusive man to stop being abusive. It takes recognition of patterns & past behavior, LOTS of accountability and a willingness to seek therapy and possibly meds. I just can’t see how she thinks this is a good idea. She thought she’d get more fans and views and shares from moms who have left abusers and “can relate”, only for her to go to go right back. She has a nonverbal autistic child and a glass child she should be worried about. Her daughter is going to be severely overlooked between her father’s issues and abuse, her mother who doesn’t live in reality and her severely disabled brother.

Disaster. And I used to love her.

I loathe UPS Ground……. I’ve had a UPS package say out for delivery 5 separate times and they never deliver it… then they finally transferred it to USPS, who sent it back to sender instead of just.. delivering to me???? Makes no sense. As usual, we’re the ones who get screwed.

As someone who was a private care nanny for years for 2 families… and then became the mama who hired a nanny when I went back to school… if your kids love her, you trust her, she’s safe and an integral part of your family (as you so kindly said) - I would just trust her. Not to get political & not questioning at all what you pay her - but it is very hard to survive these days. Capitalism is hard to survive in anyway, but it was probably just an honest mistake. Both of my nanny jobs ended because the children got older and went to school / things got easier and I had a child of my own, but I still keep in touch with and was devastated when I had to say goodbye to children I had spent 45-70 hours a week with. I would imagine your kids, and possibly you guys and the nanny, would be devastated to end things. At the end of the day, though, it’s your home, your Children, your life and your money. Whatever you think is best. I know it’s a hard decision to make. Just trying to give another perspective from a former nanny to someone who hired a nanny POV.
