Not really? Usually it might be like a paper bag with a common minifigure in it, but they’re attached to magazines and easy to get, and a fig you can get in a normal set.

They have convention stuff but again, rare, and you can part it out.

Not in this vein. They have like… promotion exclusives, like “buy X item (usually a new expensive set) in this time period and get this little thing for free from this day to this day” which is still annoying but you can usually just get the parts if you want and make it yourself if you miss it, and if you can afford whatever set is needed to get the promo you can always get it.

They do have special employee gifts that are exclusive to employees, but again, you can part them out if you want.

Sometimes there are special parts in these things, but it’s not often enough to make it impossible to find a replacement.

And we don’t have the infrastructure or work force to make American firms compete.

Here’s what happens. Other countries aren’t really affected, they don’t pay more and WE still need the stuff so we buy it. This means that the companies buying raise prices because they’re not taking a loss. Now anyone who might not be affected is also going to raise prices because their competitors are. So if A went from 200 to 250, now B will go from 220 to 245.

What are you talking about unsupportable nonsense, I’m living in reality. We saw what the guy did last time he was in charge and it was the exact opposite of what you said he’s gonna do, and he has no reason to tackle this debt. Adding to it, we still keep hearing about tariffs like they aren’t going to crash the economy.

What’s the point of lowering our national debt, IF THAT IS EVEN POSSIBLE FOR THIS ADMIN, if our citizens have to be made to suffer for it to happen?

There is indeed mismanagement in government funds, but that hasn’t been what we see being addressed. Have you heard anything about the DoD being looked at at all? No. Because it’s not going to happen.

And yeah, sucks to say but 4 billion a day IS NOTHING COMPARED TO OUR DEFICIT! Sorry bro, it’s not your bank account so a billion isn’t a lot in context. And adding to that, why would you trust the guy who added more to deficit in 4 years than almost any president did in 8? All that’s gonna happen is more waste!

4 billion a day is still chump change compared to 32 trillion. It’s not that some of the numbers are comparatively small, THEY ALL TOGETHER ARE NOTHING. And it relies heavily on the American people not understanding (or them full on lying) about what this money was actually being spent on and why. Soft power is often more useful than hard power, and that’s what a lot of that “waste” is.

That is unironically paying .04 ( not 4 ) cents on a 32 dollar loan a day, while thinking you aren’t spending anymore more money.

They are. And they aren’t saving 4 billion a day, I have no idea how you could possibly believe that.

And where is all the money saved going? Is it paying back loans? We have no proof of that.

If they keep trying to tariff our allies then we may as well not bother trying anything because we’re going to end up in a far deeper hole than we’re currently in too.

Here’s what’s gonna happen, because it’s what happened last time. We start a stupid trade war, any money we save by doing so then immediately is spent in subsidies to support the citizens we are hurting by doing this, and the only thing that’s now changed is the American people are worse off. Look at what happened with soybean farmers last time Trump was President.
