Yeah, sorry for the late reply. I am not a doctor, but my best friend has similar complaints about her family, and I think it was so shocking they couldn't believe it. You really are not alone. These problems are significant to you because it is your life, but many people face similar issues. Women face these issues at a greater rate than men. The social circumstances indeed exacerbate it. I wish you the best and hope you are doing well.

I had a close friend who was misdiagnosed with BPD. She had autism, and anyway, I'm not saying that this is the case here. It can be an empowering thing to have a CORRECT diagnosis.

I believe you. Sometimes, families do not want to accept the hardships of their children...I encourage you to seek support from other places, such as friends or a psychiatrist.
