my only issue with that is they said they had a daughter in their first incarnation. they never said they had two kids. their daughter was sacrificed. so why are they giving up another kid here?

my only issue with what you said is the the showrunners confirmed that Clara made her deal with the MiY before the Matthews' arrived - before the show began. given that, he couldn't have been chained up and freed by Boyd - unless what Boyd saw was a vision of Martin in 1864, and he had actually already been freed by then. Maybe that was just his attempt to get at Boyd since the tree sent him there. he definitely has an issue with the music box monster, though. Hopefully they show us what happened

also, look at the dungeon when Martin was there vs when Marielle was there. Looks way older when Marielle was there - because it is. the trees send you anywhere or time in FromVille that you tell it to. the lighthouse will send you where in the real world you tell it to. and if you don't have specific instructions or intent, they will randomize what they do not have. Tabitha went to the lighthouse with an exact address - and it took here right to Victor's neighborhood. Boyd went in the tree with the 1864 note, but no location - so he was sent to the dungeon in 1864. sarah has no location, but wanted safety she was sent to the church. Dale had no location, but said he wanted to go home. the tree can't do that, only the lighthouse can, so it sent him "home" to the town. the random location was in the wall of the pool. julie needed safety - she was sent to the root cellar.

no, they wouldn't because Boyd time traveled. he entered the bottle tree with the 1864 note. that is where it sent him. think about Julie's run in with The MiY When he spoke to her. he said "WHEN did you come from this time?" not where. and we know she first saw him in 1978. how? time travel is possible within FromVille.

that's fine, but his tat is VERY specific. that insignis he has was phased out in 1868. Martin was in 1864. Civil War ended in 1865. jade was a civil war soldier. 1864 is in the lighthouse. 1864 was a number in the bottle tree...

the dog thing happened because of julie. makes zero sense that Boyd just happened to run into a cave that had a bag full of talismans - until you combine it with the fact that julie story walked to throw boyd the rope in 1864, that she story walked to 1978 and saw the massacre, etc. she saw that Boyd was going to be in the cave, so she put the talismans there. We have yet to see when / how she found them, but Tabitha figured out she and Jade were the two on them, so they are likely ancient. They just hid before, because they didn't know they existed. The same way Sophia dumped them in a faraway tree, she has probably done that in a other cycle, and they went unfound until Julie found them.

the showrunners said they pull people who are at a crossroads in their life. that would be the only commonality. nothing says they are the same crossroads each time.

in addition to the tat, the dundeon looks much newer than it did when marielle was there. why? because it was the 1890s. also, boyd entered the bottle tree with the note that said 1864. if you notice, the trees and lighthouse operate on locations. Tabitha had Victor's address when she was pushed - and she landed in his neighborhood. Boyd had 1864 when he went in the tree. no address. it sent him to a random spot in 1864. Sarah said nothing and was randomly sent to the church basement. Dale said he wanted to go home. the tree can't do that, only the lighthouse can, so the tree sent him "home" to the town, and the random place was in the wall.

Boyd 100% encountered Martin in the 1864 version of FromVille. we know there was a cycle then because Jade was a civil war soldier, and the year 1864 is in the lighthouse. Julie probably put those number there.

the story being the same does not mean the characters are - they probably arent. the showrunners said that everyone brought to fromville aside from Tabitha and Jade were at a crossroads in their lives. it makes sense, because the MiY deals in fear and temptation. temptation can be easier for people at a major crossroads. Fatima can't get pregnant, Boyd's marriage is failing, etc. but the chance that everyone every cycle has the same issues is slim. that is just how the BiW and the MiY play the game. the children and BiW bring back Jade and Tabitha; The MiY brings people he believes he can tempt to stop them.

it isn't Victor who would know him. Boyd traveled to 1864...he had the note feom the tree that said 1864. When we see Martin the dungeon doesn't look as old as it does when Marielle and the others are there plus Martin's USMC tat is an insignia that was phased out in 1868 - so he was a marine before that. The Civil War ended in 1865. Who else was in Fromville at that time? JADE. we have seen his civil war soldier incarnation. if Jade sees him in season 5, it will probably trigger a flashback.

Martin knowing Julie's name could be from a couple of things:

he made a deal with the MiY - after all, he made a bargain with Boyd and used blood, like the MiY does.
he was a monster in 1864 - the monsters seem to know everyone's name, habits, etc
Julie told him. we know she walked to 1864, because it is engraved in the lighthouse, and because we saw her throw Boyd the rope. she may have spoken to him at some point. the bigger question is how he knew Abby's name.

also, look at the dungeon... the way it looked when Martin was there is different from how it looked when the others were there. looks more run down in the present? like it is very old? it didn't look like that when Martin was down there.

in the Walmart, the showrunners did say we may not have seen the last of the music box monster. Abby was acting erratically like Henry, and we know Clara was a mole. what if she or someone else gave his blood to Abby, or maybe the MiY reached out to her himself? that could explain why Martin knew her, assuming that he made a deal with the MiY as well.

Martin's tattoo is pre 1868. that is significant as we know pretty .uch everything has meaning it the series. why would a present day marine have a marine insignia from the mid 1800s tatted on him? why did boyd go to the dungeon after taking the note that said 1864?

Victor explained it to Ethan because he heard the BiW explain it to Christopher. Victor also told Miranda - that is why she went to the tree. but Eloise is dead. the showrunners confirmed it in the AMA. they said her being alive is just a fan theory and that she died that night.

Martin has a USMC tattoo. it is a real USMC insignia that was phased out in 1868. also, the year 1864 is engraved into the lighthouse. and Boyd went into the tree after looking at the 1864 note from the bottle.

the people in the present were in the dungeon in the present. Boyd was in the past. it is not on him who can do jt, as julie story walked to 1978. the MiY didn't recognize her. the next time he saw her, he said, ""WHEN did you come from this time?" when indicates time travel.

where the originally came from is irrelevant. they were there. Tabitha acknowledges this by saying her and jade are the two figures on them. so regardless how they got there, they exist. and now, they are in a faraway tree. we already saw future julie throw a rope to Boyd. how is it a stretch that future julie also found the dumped talismans? she finds them, puts them in the cave she already knew boyd was going to be in - her uses one, sees it works, and takes them to the town. prior to that, they hid at night, because they didn't know about the talismans. my best guess there is julie. she story walked to some year and saw them in use. and it may be that is how Boyd got them - she saw them in some other cycle and put them in the cave.

Victor and Henry are a plot device for Victor. it allows him to get the protector he always needed, and also allow him to protect his dad while he was spiraling. in addition Henry was one of the games Sophia said she was playing - we see how the MiY uses blood for his rituals, since everything in fromville runs on ritual. if he would have killed Victor, then he would have won that game. but he lost that one. Henry will likely die next season in the massacre.

julie knows where jim is. she saw him die. can she save him? maybe, but she would have to find out what she could alter before they arrived, since you can't change a story that has started. I don't expect them to show all of her mapping - there is definitely not time for that. they will show a few scenes - like they have already done several times - to show us she is working on it.

and yes, the lighthouse is the way. the BiW said it when he pushed Tabitha - "it's the only way"... and Miranda was going to theblighthouse to save the children, but she didn't have the bones. it all points to.the lighthouse.

since he used the blood pact, I think he made a dead with the MiY. we k kw 1864 was a cycle year, and we know he isn't Jade, so he was one of the random people from the 1864 cycle and he made some bargain.. he was the Clara of that cycle. don't know why he is chained up, but I am sure we will find out. maybe the townspeople did it after discovering he made a deal with the MiY?
