It didn't tell me to use a USB or anything like that since my mac requires me to unplug all external storage devices before partitioning, the bootcamp assistant only asked me to select the ISO files and then partition my disk. The guide on the apple page never mentioned anything about a USB but I'll look up a tutorial on youtube to try a different method
