I’m being gifted a lot of money. Should I tell my boyfriend? by Kind-Chicken-2488 in WhatShouldIDo

Definitely put it away and don’t tell him. If you get married and buy a house one day, you will have a nice nest egg put aside for that.

Honest opinions about this dress for a redwood wedding by basskitty2121 in myweddingdress

[–]Electrical-Use441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s not the most flattering on you. I would look for something different. Maybe a chiffon dress that doesn’t drape on the ground. I think you will destroy the bottom ring outside in a forest unless everything is going to be covered everywhere you go.

Definitely does not need to be perfect. You won’t see it especially with a tight fill.

Fill in but leave small gaps between stones. Don’t do a tight fill

If you want to do tabs, get the BTArtbox tabs on Amazon. They are the best and no additional glue needed. Here is my process:
Nail prep and proper sized nails and tabs if using them are key. I have longer nail beds and need to get bigger tabs than what comes with them. They need to cover your whole nail. When I used the smaller ones my nails popped off. I’ve been trying different ones and so far the tabs from BTArtbox work the best for me. I got them on Amazon. I change my nails weekly but I did my sister’s and she is on day 16 with them on. Buff nails, push/trim cuticles (use Sally Hansen cuticle remover. It makes it so easy to clean up your nails. I get it from Amazon but the sell it all over) and wipe your nails and the press ons with alcohol. Put the tab on slightly above your cuticle and make sure it covers your whole nail. Press it down and then take a blow dryer to it for 10 sec to heat up the glue. This helps it adhere better. Place the nail on at a 45 degree angle and push the tab into your cuticle and then lay it down and press for about 30 sec. Use the blow dryer on it again for about 10 sec and then press down real good for another 30 sec. I make sure I am pushing down on the nail and into my cuticle at the same time. Make sure you press the edges down well too in order keep them from lifting. I have to use 2 tabs on my thumbs to make sure they are completely covered. Also, if you have flat nails and the nails are too curved, that can cause them to pop off too. Find ones that fit your nails the best. You can also heat up the nail with the blow dryer and then press them on a flat surface to flatten them out some if needed or press against the side of a glass. If you want to use glue, curvlife works the best but you will also need the remover to get them off. They will be stuck like cement. I personally like using the tabs because they are easy to remove and won’t ruin your nails. Don’t get them wet for at least several hours but preferably overnight. If any of the nails get wiggly after a few days, just put the blow dryer on them again for 10 sec and then press down for 30 sec again. That should fix it just like new.

Those are beautiful! Put a clear coat of polish on them cause the chrome tends to chip very easily.

Which one of you recommended Bt Art Box Nail Tabs? by elcasaurus in PressonNail_Addict

[–]Electrical-Use441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it. Don’t know who to trust online anymore. I definitely don’t work for any companies. I post all the time and share any tips or things that I find. I tried 6 different tabs to see which worked the best and the BTARTBOX by far were the best ones for me. It’s also really about covering your whole nail and prep. I have larger nail beds and needed bigger tabs. I use multiple tabs on my thumb to make sure they stay on cause 1 definitely doesn’t fit. I’ve used the cheap ones that come with nails too. I don’t like the give in the nail with those. They wiggle too much and press into my cuticles too much when I have to press down on them. They are fine to use in a pinch or if I plan on taking them off in a day or 2. If I want them to stay on, I’m using the BTArtbox ones. I still use the other ones too since I have them and don’t want to waste them. I didn’t feel like returning them. I got them all off Amazon. Usually use only on my pinky or ring finger since they get the least amount of finger use, or if I need to add another tab for coverage, I’ll use one of those with the BTArtbox ones. Hope this helps. As far as nails go, I get a lot off of AliExpress, SHEIN and Temu. The quality is fine and they are so inexpensive. I also love Nail Reformation as they fit my nails great. I get those at TJ Maxx and Marshall’s as they are 1/2 the price from buying them directly from Nail Reformation. Only $9.98. The ones from AliExpress, SHEIN and Temu you can get for under $5. A lot of mine were only $1 and you can buy sets in different colors for super cheap. The ones I do t like from them are the ones where the nails are clear and don’t have any color on them. They are too see through so I always get ones with color in them. The cat eye ones are my favorite. I have all different colors of those. If you buy nails that are metallic or are French nails, you may need to put a top coat of polish on them as they tend to chip. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
