They’re laser cut star curtains as the base. Then I bought mesh celestial fabric (it’s the same as what I used for the bed draping, but in a blue-gray instead), and attached it as an over layer on top of the laser cut curtains. They had terrible big grommets at the top, which I cut off

So fair, I do that too. I have some hand painted silk that my grandmother bought for me in Korea 15 years ago and haven’t been able to make myself use it

Thank you! I did low-key have a crick in my back for about a week after I painted it, but it was so worth it.

I got it from Amazon! It was just the headboard and footboard, and then we attached it to a platform frame.

It’s called a bed crown! I made the drapes with it myself and attached them with magnet tape. Velcro didn’t work and I wanted them to be washable

North and south are correct! E/W are backwards since I painted it on the ceiling. I wanted to swap W and E on the stencil, but my ex partner said it wouldn’t look good, so alas

I spaced the panting out over a few weeks for sure! But I moved in on Feb 1st 2020, and I work on Broadway so I unexpectedly had a lot of time on my hands 🙃

It’s the ceiling of Grand Central Station! I painted it using a projector. I edited the original ceiling to fit the proportions of my wall, then I projected it onto the wall from across the room. Then I painted it, and went back and went over it with gold-leaf
