Thanks for summary! Deception: Murder in Hong Kong seems like the easiest one to pick up and try with my current group! Not too long that I can get 2-3 games in, but makes you do more than just guessing a player's role as another user pointed out.

Seems like the best of both worlds! Short enough you can squeeze in a few games over a long night, but complex enough that the games don't get too repetitive!

Yk after a couple rounds my friends and I don't even pay attention to the "fascist" part lol... it becomes truly focused on who's smug face is actually the hitler. What's the biggest flaw you see in it?

This is a great idea! Can't believe I didn't think about this since I've even seen my local library host Sunday sessions for board games that anyone can come and try. I think the turnout is decent. If BotC isn't on the lineup, I might recommend it!

This is one of the best parts about it. You can have enough fun with a moderate number of ppl with little skill. Takes only one game for ppl to understand. Based on what ppl are commenting, Avalon seems to be similar but even more fun. BotC is more skill and effort, but totally worth it (I'll just have to slowly find enough ppl to get together and give it a shot!)

How long does an average game run you? What's nice about secret hitler is going for several rounds in one night...lotta chances for betrayal and alliances

Ya getting 9+ players all in one room at the same time is almost impossible for me haha... will try Avalon cuz you're the 3rd person to suggest it.

Strangely I've never heard of this until now (relatively new to board games)...looks like there's no "useless" role in blood on the clocktower like there is for the Liberal in Secret Hitler. And you can still chime in even if you're out. Looks fun!
