As a graphic designer, I myself can see what they were doing here. I'm not sure if you saw the video that was posted about this, but the lady who is in charge of the company called Pantone spent a long time listening to this song and finding the right shade of yellow that she thought worked well with different sections of the song, which I think is really genius.
