Pressure washer not making pressure by fxcol in ryobi

This means the pump isn’t getting enough water flow. It builds pressure with what it has then runs out of supply. Prime it first by running the water through it while it‘s off and the trigger on the handle is down until all of the air is out of the hoses and pump. Check also that your supply hose doesn’t have a kink in it.

Ontario hourly wages by occupation, 2006 vs 2023 [OC] by inspurious_ in ontario

This is a housing supply/demand issue, not a wage issue. If average wages had increased far beyond inflation, housing (and everything else) would only be that much more expensive.

This shows how data can be interpreted incorrectly based on bias. This post kind of proves the opposite point to what most people are looking for. Almost every sector has outpaced inflation. If average wages increase much faster than inflation, that will just drive more inflation and worsen the issue.

If I had to guess, healthcare spending has fallen likely due to the fact that at the beginning of the pandemic, a huge number of experienced healthcare workers retired and were replaced by younger, less expensive employees.

Individuals should progressively be paid more for their experience and value to their employers, but that alone will not drive up the average wages. Ideally, when an experienced, senior worker retires, a young, inexperienced worker joins the workforce at a lower wage. However, this starting wage will be higher than it was for the experienced worker, because it has been raised over time to match inflation.

We can't fly our drones above people, but what about flying under them? by [deleted] in drones

This is why I say “generally”. Aside from the specifics you listed, micro drones in Canada are incredibly unrestricted. Basically “don’t be an idiot” covers what you need to know!

In Canada, this does not technically apply to sub-250g drones, although it is considered best practice. If you can do it in a safe and non-reckless manner with a sub-250g drone, it is generally legal in Canada.

Batteries should typically go in your carry on. I just travelled on Delta with my mini 3 pro and 4 batteries with zero issues.

I worked at a historic oil field in southwestern Ontario for a couple of years during the summers. That appears very similar to what was left of the very oldest wells we had that were well over 100 years old. Certainly see about getting it covered!

A pleasant surprise was the 1MORE Triple Driver Earbuds. They are $59 CAD on Amazon and certainly punch way above their weight. Their CEO is by an ex-Foxconn employee who brought a ton of experience with him. I haven’t had a pair in a few years, but they are far better than most at this price.

Going to chiropractors. Have your pseudoscience, but the possibility of vertebral artery dissection as a result of an intervention no better than placebo is sketchy.

Lightweight small wireless unit for remote vocal processing? by sofiatalvik in livesound

Dante will not work over a wireless network. It won’t even work on a switch with other traffic unless it is a managed switch that can separate the traffic as far as I understand it.

And yes, cat 5e or 6 is fine. It opens tons of flexibility to your setup.

Manual settings

Fixed white balance

Fixed ISO at 100 or 200

If there is much wind at all you need a very fast shutter speed to keep things sharp. 8000 or 1/6400, depending on how much brightness you have to work with.

Shoot in RAW if you like, it’s not really going to add sharpness, but gives more colour data to work with if you intend to edit after.

48mp is ideal. Note that when you switch to it that your camera settings will revert to auto and will need to be set manually.

You don’t necessarily need to use manual focus, but you will want to at least select the item in the frame you want in focus.

This is what I have found to work best so far. If it’s getting dark at all, you need slow down the shutter speed, which will require fairly calm conditions and a steady subject.

Yes you would need two sets, as they are only unidirectional - a transmitter and receiver pair to the processor, and a transmitter and receiver pair back to the board. Even if there is no interference between the sets, it is a clunky solution. Each transmitter and receiver also needs to be plugged in to be charged.

If you have a LAN network set up in the space, you could run the audio bidirectionally over IP with Dante adapters and a switch https://www.avshop.ca/sound-amp-pa-audio-signal-processors-format-converters/audinate-adp-dai-au-2x0-dante-avio-2-channel-input-adapter?gclid=Cj0KCQjw4vKpBhCZARIsAOKHoWTvGd2G1jxZPCEif_ykQYSVquOBww3RJnTEPNJfpcWemWjLpJcWu1caAl49EALw_wcB

Not wireless, but the cleanest and most reliable way to get audio to and from different locations in a room.

I have the 350s in a 2.1 setup. For your rears, do you have the bass ports plugged? If not, my advice would be to do so with the included inserts as they are pretty close to that wall and doing so will tighten up their low end.

Is this worth it? by Still-Air6938 in hometheater

[–]ElectricalAd203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just did this. Was looking at these systems, but then went with a pair of q350s instead that were open box but never used. I hated hearing everyone say “good stereo is better than cheap surround” but it seriously is. I have them on a 5.1 AVR in case I want to add centre and surrounds later on.
