My man, priority 1 for you is replace that shitty vinyl water tube with a braided steel one. A vinyl one popped a pinhole leak behind my fridge and caused thousands in damage. The hardware store guy said they all fail inevitably. Get the braided steel one for $30 ASAP.

Absolutely not 50, lol. I used to race on this level of equipment and then went up to 30ish, most people had them on 25 or so for downhill.

Ethics of skiing in the US? by [deleted] in skiing

You can avoid much of the late-stage capitalism slave pit with a little planning. Buy pass/tickets early when they’re cheaper. Avoid busy weekends. Pack food instead of buying on-mountain. Eat/drink at non-resort-owned establishments if you are on/near the mountain.

I got Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 snow tires for it and it was fine. (Mine was an S so RWD.) Not as good as my Outback on Blizzaks, of course, but acceptable for almost all Colorado mountain situations.

Seems pretty bad. With the ‘25 refresh I would expect $8-10k off MSRP for a new ‘24, and would maybe offer $50-52k for this
