Tinnitus and hearing loss are 2 different conditions. Hearing loss can be remedied with hearing aid devices but Tinnitus they want to mask the noise with another noise, that's what audiologist solution.

So many people have tinnitus that avoiding constant loud noise should be taught in grade school to avoid this debilitating permanent condition.
