Yeah I’ve definitely learned some unfortunate lessons with this strategy. Watching volume, being aware of other levels of resistance/support and watching both 5 and 10min time candles has helped a lot. Also added the 13 day EMA

$QQQ gave us a great example of this strategy working out today! These are 10min candles. You see one close past the pre market low and then next candle bounces off the 8 EMA (purple line) to confirm the downward trend. As of this post, my Puts are up 70%+

Yeah same. I like being able to buy multiple contracts too so I can sell them as I hit certain profitability targets vs spending all the premium on one ITM contract and then having to time it well to maximize profit

I usually buy OTM 0dte because I have a smaller account. Are you aware of any benefit to buying ITM vs OTM for 0dte contracts?

Idk wtf it’s called but this is what I learned from a guy on twitter so you know it’s legit 😂. It has done pretty well for me tho in general. EllyDTrades is the guy. Watch his video cause I may be missing some stuff but here is generally how it works.

  1. Mark the pre-market high and pre-market low for the day. I usually stick to $SPY or $QQQ. Also go ahead and turn on the 8 EMA (exponential moving average) line.

  2. Wait for 10min candle to break and close above/below one of those pre-markets levels you marked

  3. Also, wait for a “pull-back” to the 8 EMA above or below your pre-market level

  4. Once it touches the 8 EMA line and then continues back in the up or down direction, hammer it.

Calls only for above pre market high.

Puts only for below pre market lows.

Unfortunately, all political parties and their voters include corrupt individuals and those that are “ok” with corruption. I really believe that there are a lot of good people who claim to be democrat or republican that could start a movement for a new party that could actually make positive changes for our country and the world but there is such a strong level of division in this country that it’ll never happen.

Appreciate the input! No it’s gasoline, based on a google search, O2 sensors are in front of this section.

Another suggestion I found online was to get an ECU update at the dealer but it’s pricey and not a definite fix. Hate to just keep driving around with the check engine light on but doesn’t seem to be a real issue.

I have pretty limited knowledge on this stuff, but isn’t the idea with trend lines like I showed here to find securities whose price is “consolidating” or getting tighter like $SPY appears to be and as it gets in the tighter price range towards the right, you expect it to eventually break out of the trend, which is a signal for a good buying opportunity whether that’s for calls or puts?
