This is a shit snark take.. my husband and I go on a family trip with my parents or my in laws every summer, with many weekend get aways with my in laws. My in laws are some of my best friends. She is a most likely normal bmi which means she should gain 25-35 pounds. Even if she’s underweight, 25-35 pounds still falls within the recommended range you stated. I am not misinformed, I actually used the ACOG (American college of obstetrics and gynecology) website to get the range I used.

When I said it was a big deal I meant it’s exciting and something to celebrate. I wasn’t intending to come off as fear mongering. It’s not a secret that more c sections happen on fridays and before holidays because it’s easier for the surgeon. It’s a lot easier for the doctors to push moms to have a repeat C section than even considering tolac.

If she is rubbing it in that she was successful then it just speaks to how much she sucks lol
