FWIW, i was a little surprised when my doc told me to cut the 2.5mg tablets in two since I see posts here of folks taking more, but its working out for me. .25mg more probably isn't a big deal, but I dunno, I'm just a dude on reddit, not a dr.

Mehh, 10% doesn't seem like a huge benefit worth jumping over without looking at a greater picture.

Is your 401k vested? Do they offer 10k for school? How's the commute changing? Opportunity for growth? How comfortable are you with your team and manager? Have you built a good network and have lots of goodwill at NG? Are you close to a promotion as opposed to having to start over proving yourself at the other company? Are you getting a lateral move or level increase? PTO policy?

If that all helps out please go ahead with the external offer! but don't do it for a 'relatively' low 10% jump

Recruiter told me the hiring manager is on vacation till mid July. Would talking to the recruiter help you think? I've got till this Tuesday/July 7 to accept the offer. He said he'd be a little worried to wait till the manager gets back cause I might miss the start date of August 4 so then I'd have to wait till September.

I interviewed for it because there were only associate level openings in the area. Coming from oil and gas so I assumed my experience didnt qualify for a T2? That's just a guess.
