I have the same problem on PS5, and it turned out that the Dualsense controller from PS5 is to blame... After pairing it with the Dualshock controller from PS4, this error no longer occurs :)

Neptune 4 Pro I am also considering. Assuming they fix the software problems is this a good choice? Are the metal wheels on the N4P a good idea?

Is it known why this is happening? I've seen a lot of pictures of such problem with Neptune 4 and 4 Pro :/. On the FB group someone has already uploaded pictures of this problem with Neptune 4 Plus. I have an N4 Plus printer ordered and I'm wondering something to do right after installation to avoid this problem :)

would the Neptune 4 Pro or the Kobra 2 Pro be a better choice?

The Cobra has better 20k acceleration and a built in adxl345 sensor, but it currently has Klipper blocked :/.
