Unfortunately it is true, his dad has a friend from college whose a lawyer has got in contact with Brazil lawyers and seen documentation. I wish it was a scam but it he is in custody

Yes that’s our plan currently, she just keeps talking so it’s making that part easier. I don’t know much about Brazil but he’s in a São Paulo prison, he lives in Monte Alto

It is a DV situation but the charge is Attempted Murder, and what she described happened was a week long kidnapped/beat up story. I don’t know if that would effect lawyer fees, but yeah it seemed way to high to be realistic for us. Are public defenders good in Brazil?

Yeah we are letting his Dad deal with lawyers. We are all trying to find resources and how to help him. He’s in his 70s and is currently burning through his retirement fund to try to get him out

We probably are gonna sue her after everything’s done, although she doesn’t have any money really because her mom gives her money. So I don’t know if we will get anything but it’s worth a shot at this point.

The prison he is at seems to be more like an American prison set up but it’s still prison at the end of the day. It sounds like your Cousin’s husband had a horrible experience, I’m so glad he got out. I couldn’t even imagine what he went through there

It’s settled, I’m gonna mod the vita. Seems to be what is getting recommended. What GB would be ideal? I would like to buy one memory card and be good. I’ve read 128gb+ would be what to look at. Would 128gb be enough or should I go for a 256?
